Catholic Education

These 22 children are most of the offspring of our friends (there are 3 more due within the next few months). Of the eventual 25 or so children, there are 4 pairs of twins. On a side note, every couple (soon to be 4) that has had twins stopped having any additional children after their arrival.

Go figure. :-)

Quality time at the pool (sunny and warm today) and the kids hit the climbing wall - the adults stayed on the ground where they belong.

According to mapping software, the trip from St. Joseph, Michigan to the resort is only 3 1/2 hours...

with the co-pilot navigation system we took the following "route"...

and that only took 5 hours. :(

Weekend Update

The Janezic clan is back from a whilrwind "vacation".

After a quick trip to Springfield - which included the old capitol, the new capitol, the Lincoln museum, and apparently a visit to the department of corrections (more on this at a later date) - and western Illinois to the Byers farm, we're busy preparing for our next trip. Truth be told, I've been spending all of my free time reading the latest Harry Potter novel.

I'll edit the pictures and video from our vacation and post them as soon as time permits. Until then...

Before the infamous two bottles of wine- notice the size of the smiles

The smiles got a little crooked as the night wore on as the ladies had a great time in Vegas. Schmoozing their way to free bottles of wine - sometime known as dine & dash - was one way to maintain the buzz.

They'll be back.

Every day more men and women lose their lives in Iraq and those at home take the time to remember their sacrifice. We took some time out of our day to do the same. For those fallen soldiers and their families at home we pray. God bless them. God bless our country.
