The first Thanksgiving with the new kitchen was a success.
With 23 pounds of turkey on the grill and 2 turkey breasts in the oven you'd think there would be leftovers. You'd be wrong. Remarkably, there is still some wine...we must be getting old (or buying more wine!).

Lisa traveled to Bloomington, hung out with a TV star, and presented to two overflow rooms of eager students. Just as important...I think she had fun.
After about 2 hours of trick-or-treating, John and Jacob hauled in enough candy for a small army of beggars and thieves. John accounted for 292 pieces and Jacob amassed 276 pieces. So let's see... 292 + 276 = 1 BIG dental bill.
By the way, the days of cute costumes is apparently far behind us.
