The Elves Came Today

Electricians and plumbers joined in to install lots of lighting fixtures

and move the washing machine hookups

We are the proud owners of a incredibly shrinking laundry room.

Day 3

Some things are added to the picture...

1. The new laundry room begins to take shape


2. The passage get closed off.


3. The boys pay tribute to Steve (our contractor)

The beat goes on ... and some walls come down.

Day 1

The project has begun and the demolition moves on...

Demolition Picks Up

The boys took to the task of destroying the first floor of the house.

1. Kitchen cabinets - down and gone



2. Family room carpet - up and out



3. Kitchen flooring - out easier than it went in



4. Hall flooring - snap, crackle, out!

We've written a couple of checks and started the demolition...there's no turning back now. I wonder if it would have been easier to move?
